Villas in Naxos

Naxos island has undergone a massive tourists development since 2000. Many new accommodation units have been built, to accommodate the increasing number of tourists. Their variety covers almost any requirement. Almost.

Although there are some holiday villas on Naxos Greece, most of them only recently built, their number remains limited compared to the villas found in the neighbouring Cycladic islands. Nonetheless, some new and fantastic country Naxos villas can still be found on the island. When we say villas, we mean detached houses with a small or large piece of land surrounding them. They are built and decorated in accordance with the traditional Cycladic architecture, offering at the same time all modern amenities.

Naxos villas and Naxos pool villas are an ideal accommodation for families or large groups of friends. Are they expensive? Definitely not. Staying in a villa is not the budget friendly option you would think of, but you need to take into account the money you would save by preparing some meals for all or by enjoying the view or the pool with a cocktail, instead of having to go out each time.

A villa is the closest thing to a home. And it is true that if you book a villa, it feels like being on a holiday with all the comforts of your home. What can beat that? Not the apartments offered, not even a luxury hotel.

Should you decide to stay in one of the villas of Naxos, bearing in mind that there is only a few of them, it is best that you make your booking early enough or you won’t find any availability at all. Statistically speaking, online bookings are the most common way of reserving this type of accommodation. Find the Naxos villa of your dreams in any travel guide and make sure that it offers your basic requirements in terms of amenities and, of course, location. If it is peace and quiet you desire, make sure that you stay far from the centre of the most touristic places of the island. Keep in mind that most villas have been built in areas that offer a certain degree of privacy and isolation, even if they are close to tourist attraction spots.

If you plan to use the kitchen on a daily basis, make sure it is large enough for your needs and ask in advance exactly what appliances it contains. Equally important is the size of the refrigerator. Spacious balconies or verandas will also prove handy. You will love enjoying the beautiful summer sunsets from there.

Is having a swimming pool really important? To most Naxos Greece tourists not. Why? Because the island is so full of fantastic beaches that they have no use for a pool. Still, an evening drink by your own private swimming pool doesn’t sound that bad!
